1 Agreement & Scope of Services

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between the client (hereinafter referred to as "Client", "You") and Ram Photography (hereinafter referred to as "Studio", "We", "Us").

By confirming an event booking, making an advance payment, or commissioning photography/videography services, you acknowledge and agree to adhere to these terms in their entirety.

Our services encompass candid wedding photography, traditional photography, cinematic wedding films, drone aerial coverage, LED display walls, live web streaming, and premium album creation throughout Hyderabad, Telangana, and pan-India destinations.

2 Booking Confirmation & Date Reservation

Due to high demand during wedding and auspicious muhurtham seasons:

• Advance Deposit: Dates are reserved strictly on a confirmed, first-come first-served basis upon receipt of the agreed booking advance.
• No Verbal Holds: Inquiries, initial discussions, or quotation sharing do not constitute a confirmed booking until the advance deposit is cleared in the studio's designated bank account or UPI.
• Exclusivity: Once confirmed, Ram Photography turns down other booking requests for your scheduled dates to dedicate our lead creative team and equipment exclusively to your celebration.

3 Payment Schedule & Milestones

To ensure seamless planning and timely post-production, payments are structured across clear milestones:

• Booking Advance (Stage 1): Payable upon signing the booking agreement to lock in event dates and allocate crews (typically 25% – 30% of total package value).
• Event Week Milestone (Stage 2): Payable prior to or on the primary event day (typically 50% – 60% of package value).
• Final Clearance (Stage 3): The remaining balance (typically 15% – 20%) is payable upon completion of editing, prior to the dispatch of final high-resolution photo drives, printed physical albums, or master cinematic film download links.

4 Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refunds

Because wedding dates are blocked exclusively and prevent the studio from accepting other clients:

• Advance Deposit Policy: The booking advance is non-refundable, as it covers date blocking, opportunity loss, pre-production logistics, and crew retention.
• Date Rescheduling: If you must reschedule due to unforeseen family circumstances, we will gladly accommodate your new date without penalty, provided:
  • Notice is provided in writing at least 30 days prior to the original date.
  • The requested new date is available on Ram Photography's booking calendar.
• Studio Cancellation: In the highly improbable event that Ram Photography is unable to provide services due to catastrophic emergency or severe unforeseen studio circumstances, our liability is strictly limited to an immediate 100% refund of all monies received, or facilitating an equivalent replacement team with your consent.

5 Creative License & Artistic Discretion

Clients choose Ram Photography for our distinct, luxurious photographic aesthetic, emotive candid storytelling, and refined color science:

• Artistic Freedom: Ram Photography exercises full artistic discretion regarding composition, lighting, camera angles, color grading, background music selection for cinematic teasers, and final shot selection.
• Rejection of Sub-standard Shots: Test shots, blinks, out-of-focus frames, duplicate bursts, and unflattering angles are filtered out during curation to present only premium, polished memories.
• Revisions: We accommodate one reasonable round of client feedback on album layout proofs and video teaser edits within 14 days of sharing preview drafts.

6 Event Coordination, Logistics & Permits

A successful shoot relies on smooth collaboration between the client and studio:

• Venue & Drone Permissions: The Client is responsible for securing necessary venue permissions, temple permits, police NOCs (where applicable for drone flights in high-security zones in Hyderabad), and power outlets for live-streaming setups.
• Designated Family Coordinator: The Client agrees to designate a family member or event coordinator to assist our team in identifying key family members and VIP guests during reception and ceremony sessions.
• Interference & Guest Courtesy: While we welcome guests capturing moments with their phones, guests should not obstruct the primary photographer/cinematographer's line of sight during critical rituals (e.g., Jeelakarra Bellam, Talambralu, Mangalsutra dharana, Varmala).

7 Copyright & Intellectual Property

Under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957:

• Authorship & Copyright: Ram Photography remains the sole legal owner of copyright in all creative media produced by our cinematographers and photographers.
• Perpetual Client License: The Client is granted an unrestricted, perpetual personal usage license to print, distribute, display, and share all delivered photos and films for non-commercial personal enjoyment.
• Commercial Use by Vendors: Third-party wedding vendors (makeup artists, decorators, attire designers, event planners) who wish to use Ram Photography's imagery for their commercial advertising must obtain prior written permission and provide explicit photographic credits (e.g., "Photography: Ram Photography Hyderabad").
• Client Privacy Guarantee: If the Client requests private delivery without social media or website portfolio inclusion, we respect and abide by this completely upon written notification.

8 Delivery Timelines & Proofing

We believe in meticulous editing and color craftsmanship rather than hurried outputs:

• Teasers & Highlight Previews: Shared within 7 to 14 business days following the event for social media sharing and family previews.
• Full Edited Photo Collection: Delivered digitally via private online gallery within 3 to 5 weeks.
• Cinematic Films & Traditional Video: Delivered within 4 to 8 weeks post-event, depending on the scale and editing complexity.
• Physical Albums: Once the client approves the final album layout and photo selection, physical printing, binding, and delivery take approximately 2 to 3 weeks.

9 Data Archival & Raw Footage Policy

Handling massive volumes of 4K cinematic footage requires structured archival rules:

• Raw Footage: Raw, unedited camera files are not included in standard delivery unless explicitly negotiated and specified in your booking contract.
• Archival Period: Client deliverables and master files are maintained on our active studio backup drives for 60 days after final delivery. Clients must download and preserve independent copies on external hard disks upon receiving their deliverables.
• After 60 days, Ram Photography is not liable for data loss due to hardware aging or routine server rotation.

10 Limitation of Liability & Force Majeure

We implement professional redundancy protocols, including dual memory card recording and backup gear at all events:

• Limitation: In the rare and unforeseen event of equipment damage, total memory card failure, severe weather, or accidents beyond reasonable human prevention, the studio's liability is strictly limited to the monetary sum received for the affected service.
• Force Majeure: Neither party shall be held liable for failure or delay in performance caused by natural disasters, acts of God, lockdowns, government regulations, curfews, or power grid failures beyond either party's control. In such events, best efforts will be made to reschedule amicably.

11 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms and all booking agreements shall be interpreted and governed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.
